Report Card Review for: Beauty Blender Makeup Sponge

Not Your Average Makeup Sponge…

I stumbled upon Beauty Blender Makeup Sponge from my monthly Birchbox subscription. Birchbox is where you pay a fee every month to receive a box of beauty samples.

The Beauty Blender Makeup Sponge is more than your average sponge and better than a makeup brush. It allows you to get a more even coverage with a flawless look. You are able to get around every part of your face (from around the nose to the hard to reach area of the eyes) because of its unique shape plus it’s easy to hold and clean as well.

Every time I use The Beauty Blender, I receive tons of compliments on my complexion and how great my makeup looks (and we all know that every girl on earth loves a compliment or 3) *giggles*.
The sponge is latex, allergy and odor free!!! It works great when used wet especially with my powder foundation. I really love my Beauty Blender and I can’t live without it. Now, I only use brushes for eye shadow, blush and lips. The best thing is…there are no streaks or lines on the face like some wedge sponges can leave.
The only thing that may seem like a minus is; it recommended that you wash Beauty Blender after every use and if you are lazy, this may be a turnoff for you. If you are a closet germaphob like myself… to avoid any bacteria or oil build up, you should wash it every day as recommended. It only takes a few minutes to wash it and it dries really fast. Plus, if you are a beginner they also have a great how to post on beautyblender.net.
My overall review is 5 out of 5 smooches…MUAH. You can find this hidden treasure on Birchbox.com 2 for $25.95…. What a beauty deal!!! Happy Blending!!!

  1. I love this egg shaped sponge

  2. I have had mine for 4 years now and I couldn’t do my makeup without it! A brush is good for applying foundation on others, but when doing your own makeup the Beautyblender is the best.
